Testimonials

"I am in my 50s, with knee problems from a skiing injury, a tendency to gripping injuries like tennis elbow, and, when I first saw Zamri, pain in my right shoulder when I raised the arm. I had given up my previous fitness programme because of the difficulties with my arm, when Zamri took me on. I had ten sessions with him over a period of about six weeks, focusing on my posture and especially my shoulders, and strengthening my arms. He was very careful to ensure that I did not exacerbate the tennis elbow, while encouraging me with exercises which varied from session to session, which were fun and motivating. At the end, he gave me two programmes, one for general fitness and one for my shoulder, which I have kept up with, and which seem - touch wood - to have cured my shoulder problems. So I highly recommend Zamri as a trainer, especially for particular rehab issues"  —  Diana Kahn, Clapham.

"I suffer from chondromalacia patella* and have been unable to run or follow my usual personal training routine. Zamri was recommended to me as a personal trainer who could help me resume training without further damaging my knees. I am delighted with the results. His unique method of training involving resistance and muscle activation has been really effective - I have rebuilt strength in my legs and see an improvement week by week. Zamri really enjoys his work and takes great pleasure in seeing positive results in his clients - this is very motivating"  —  Johannah Bailey, Clapham.

"I have been training with Zamri for over two years now and initially started with him because he was the sports injury specialist trainer at Virgin Active. I have torn meniscuses in both knees and was advised to do physiotherapy and avoid running, lunges, squats etc. As a former runner this posed a big challenge as I now had to figure out a good workout that was in line with the medical advice. This is where Zamri came in. He worked out my exercise routine and keeps it dynamic till today. In addition he introduced me to Muscle Activation Techniques (or MAT), working on both knees as well as my right shoulder, which due to a Repetitive Stress Injury needs constant working on."

"During this period I also sustained a minor injury to my left wrist which progressed to a painful elbow. In all these cases MAT was invaluable. In addition to the appropriate exercises, Zamri treated all the injuries with MAT at the end of the sessions till the injuries healed or subsided. The difference MAT made was remarkable and very easily evidenced in the 'before and after' sessions! We include MAT almost as a routine in our regular training sessions now, particularly to work on sore or injured spots. I highly recommend Zamri and his 'all inclusive' training"  —  Hema Kulkarni, Clapham.
